Far from industrial sites and the pollution of modern life, just 5 kilometers from Melnik, lie the plantings of the Kapatovo gardens and vineyards.

Respect for nature and its gifts unites the team at Kapatovo gardens and vineyards.

The establishment of the farm began with the purchase of the first lands in 1997, reaching 1200 decares by 2010.

The past years have helped us accumulate invaluable experience and knowledge about the specifics of the local climate, as well as the natural challenges we face as farmers.

This led us to "our recipe" for farming – investment and human care.

The perennial crops are entirely secured with drip irrigation. We have invested in agricultural machinery, cold storage facilities, a packaging and sorting base, and a commercial base.

Following the expectations and needs of our customers, we continue to develop the farm by experimenting with production based entirely on the use of organic fertilizers and preparations.

Vineyards

Kapatovo Gardens and Vineyards owns 174 decares of vineyards – 104 decares of fruit-bearing vineyards and 70 decares of young vineyards. Another 20 decares are to be planted. The varieties were selected after careful study of the soil qualities and climatic characteristics. The planting material was purchased from the French company "Guillaume". The vineyards are part of a family estate, where the plantings receive daily care, with the aim of achieving maximum quality of the harvest. A drip irrigation system has been built, covering all 174 decares, which allows for a reaction to climatic anomalies and drastic droughts.

Raising

At "Kapatovo" Gardens and Vineyards, we believe that the care a person provides is the most valuable thing our fruit trees and vineyards need. To facilitate the work of our team members, we invested in diverse and high-quality agricultural machinery. As part of the investment process, we added to the company's assets: a warehouse, a packing and sorting facility, and a sales facility. In addition to everything necessary for the daily maintenance of the farm and crops, we also purchased special machines to prevent frost – frost guards.

Guilt

"Kapatovo" Ltd. produces red and white wine "Kapatovo" - bottled, as well as packaged in 5-liter containers. The red "Kapatovo" is a blend of Syrah, Petit Verdot, Marselan and Primitivo. Depending on the characteristics of the vintage, we strive to find the optimal ratio of grape varieties in the blend to meet the expectations of our customers. Before bottling, the wine ages in French oak "Baron" barrels. The white "Kapatovo" is a blend of Chardonnay and Viognier. "Kapatovo" wines are vinified and bottled at "Damyanitsa" Ltd.

To meet the requirements of our customers and traders, we invested in a special cherry sorting machine, as well as a hydrocooler for product cooling. We also installed drip irrigation, which covers all permanent plantations. The produce is stored in nine cold rooms with a total volume of 1200 cubic meters. The farm also has its own transport.
