Santa Sara

Santa Sara Winery Estate owns 400 decares of land in the village of Goritsa, Pomorie municipality, near Nesebar, where the vineyards are located and a small winery is being built. 80% of Santa Sara's production is sold in Germany, Sweden, Switzerland and Finland, Austria and England, Belgium and the Netherlands.

Santa Sara Winery was founded in 1999 by Ivaylo Genovski. Over the next decade, it became synonymous with consistent and high quality. Ivaylo purchased high-tech winery equipment, as well as the now legendary three caravans used for its transportation. Afterwards, premises were rented in the yard of the winery in Nova Zagora. This marked the beginning of his Santa Sara project, named after his daughter.

Mr. Genovski's vision is for a precise selection of suitable mini-terroirs and grape varieties, creating long-term partnerships with the grape growers themselves. The winery strives for reduced yields for higher quality and exceptional control over the winemaking processes.
