Stratsin

Any winemaker will tell you that what happens in the vineyard is more important than what happens in the winery. Since wine is made from grapes, any effect on the fruit also affects what's in the glass. That's why we follow the philosophy that "wine-making begins in the vineyard."

Stratsin Winery is located in the Pomorie region, known for its old winemaking traditions. The winery has its own vineyards in an area characterized by favorable climatic conditions. As a result, the wines of the winery have excellent qualities. Dressed in elegant bottles and modern design, the Early Birds, Picky Magpie, and SOULMATEs series have started winning awards from national and international competitions, as well as the admiration of wine lovers.

The winery team strives to preserve the traditional Bulgarian spirit, but also to combine it with modern trends from around the world, which will lead to the birth of new and interesting wines. The "star" grape varieties of the wine world have been selected – Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah for red wines and rosé. White wines are represented by the Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Muscat varieties.

Terroir

Terroir means soil or land, but in the language of wine the term has taken on another meaning, it defines taste according to location or literally "the taste of the place." Applied in the narrow sense, terroir gives wine its individual taste and aroma.

Climate

The proximity of the Black Sea contributes to the region's favorable climate. Winters are mild, autumns are long and warm, springs are cool, and summers are warm and humid. The daily and nightly breezes, as well as the good climatic conditions, contribute to the good ripening and accumulation of fine fruit aromas.

The vineyards were planted between 2006 and 2010, with the planting material supplied from France. The varieties, rootstocks, and clones of the vines were selected individually for each variety, with the aim of producing high-quality wines. The vineyards are located in the municipality of Pomorie and in the winery's area.
