Terra Tangra Winery is located on the southwestern slopes of the Sakar Mountain, along the Maritsa River in the Thracian Valley. The wines are produced from grapes grown in their own vineyards, spanning 350 hectares. The conditions for growing quality grapes in the region are more than excellent. The many sunny days a year, the constant wind and scarce rainfall, combined with the southern exposure of the vineyards, lead to a high temperature gradient. Added to this is the shallow soil horizon, which transitions into decomposed granite at deeper levels. According to many experts, the South Sakar region will become the most successful wine terroir in Bulgaria.
