Terroir

The terroir here favors a perfect varietal expression. This is an extremely suitable area for growing white grapes. The relief is hilly, with an altitude of 200 – 280 m. Brown forest soils and carbonate chernozem predominate. They are well-aerated and warm, soils with a light granular structure (especially for higher micro-regions) and have a pH of 6 – 6.5.

Climate

The average temperature sum during the growing season is 3600-3700°C, which, combined with a long and warm autumn, ensures sufficient sugar accumulation, with high titratable acidity and a pH of 3.0 – 3.2. The annual rainfall is about 650 dm3/m2, which ensures good physiological tissue moisture.
