TASTING CHARACTERISTICS

Impressive with its golden amber color, Black Sea Gold 33 XO brandy combines notes of vanilla, chocolate, caramel, fig, and raisins, acquired from the aging of the wine distillate for thirty-three years in Strandzha oak barrels. The prolonged aging gives the brandy incomparable complexity and softness, complemented by exceptional harmony and balance, due to its subsequent maturation for a year and a half in ten-ton oak barrels.

The complex aroma, exquisite taste, and unforgettable finish are the reasons why Chernomorsko Zlato 33 XO brandy has won three consecutive gold medals at the International Exhibition "Vinaria", is an undisputed leader in the Bulgarian market, and a worthy competitor to the most prestigious French cognacs.

PROCESSING METHOD

The wine distillate, produced from Ugni Blanc, Dimyat, and Rkatsiteli, is transferred to transport barrels made of Strandzha oak with a volume of 450 to 600 liters, where it develops various aromas and flavors for 30-37 years. This is followed by blending wine distillates from different years, aiming to achieve the desired taste. The resulting wine distillate, with an average age of 33 years, is transferred to maturation barrels with a volume of 10 tons, also made of Strandzha oak, where the blend matures for a year and a half and acquires balance and harmony.
