Villa Melnik is a family winery producing bold wines from local and international varieties with a distinct Melnik character. It has 30 hectares of its own vineyards near the town of Melnik and a modern winery that is open to visitors every day.

Although founded in 2013, Villa Melnik builds on centuries-old family traditions. Documents from the personal archives of owner Nikola Zikatanov indicate that his family was involved in winemaking more than 200 years ago. He decided to return to his roots and revive the family craft. The company quickly established itself in the competitive market and attracted the attention of connoisseurs. Dozens of its wines have won awards at international wine exhibitions.

Melnik and "wine" are two words that almost always go hand in hand. The smallest town in Bulgaria, with a population of less than 200 people, is famous for its winemaking traditions. There is almost no family in the region that is not involved in this field in some way. Every family has its own vineyards and produces, even if in small quantities, the drink of the Gods. This is how Melnik winery also started. Today, the winery is one of the most recognizable brands in Bulgaria.

The wine tasting for two takes place on-site at the winery, where you will be able to taste five top wines from local and international varieties from the Aplauz series - white, rosé, and red, as well as meat delicacies and mineral water.
