ABSOLUT ELYX is hand-distilled in 1921 in a copper still, still known as "Column 51", made entirely of copper. The process is managed by a select few who have inherited the knowledge and experience of generations of spirit and alcoholic beverage producers.
The silky texture of our vodka is obtained as a result of carefully selected wheat from a single region, manual processing, and a traditional copper catalysis process. Copper naturally catalyzes trace compounds in alcohol, purifying the vodka and adding the highly prized silky texture and taste.

ABSOLUT ELYX is produced in Åhus, Sweden, from wheat selected exclusively from the Råbelöf Castle area, where wheat has been grown since 1400. The wheat grown here contains a precisely defined amount of water and has a perfectly balanced starch content.
From grain to bottle - the entire process takes place within a 15-mile radius of the distillery, ensuring strict quality control and perfection in every detail.
The vodka has won "World's Best Vodka" and two gold medals at the San Francisco Spirits Competition in 2013.
