Description

The Aloxe-Corton Les Vercots 1er Cru 2018 comes from a one-hectare parcel planted 15 years ago with Pinot Très Fin, which Nathalie Tollot told me has "looser bunches to prevent rot." It has a very pretty, quite intense bouquet with well-defined aromas of raspberry, wild strawberry, and wet limestone. The medium-bodied palate has very supple tannins and a keen line of acidity. Fresh and vibrant, with a lightly peppery and persistent finish.
