Description

Amphora is a series of wines from the Zahel family - each year a handcrafted 320-liter clay amphora is dedicated to Riesling, Grüner Veltliner, or Gemischter Satz. The wines are biodynamically vinified according to Demeter guidelines with minimal intervention and offer the longest maceration contact in the Zahel portfolio.

Style: cloudy with an intense golden-yellow color; exotic aromas such as melon, ripe apple, and peach; elegant, well-integrated acidity, great structure with fine tannins.
