Maurizio and Paolo Giacosa, now the fourth generation, manage the company. A new vineyard, planted in the historic Barbaresco district, Bazzarin quarter, Gianmaté vineyard, contributes to expanding the product range. Another challenge, but certainly a test of courage for those like them who invest in quality wine. With Barbaresco Basarin Vigna Gianmaté, the reward is well-deserved after many years of waiting, and today it has become the flagship wine of the Giacosa company. All vintages sold are highly rated by the specialized press.
