Description

Cannubi is considered the Grand Cru vineyard for Barolo, an exceptional wine in terms of style and elegance, and Damilano one of the oldest wineries in Barolo.

The absolute high quality of Nebbiolo grapes, harvested on the Cannubi hill, is the result of a unique soil composition: uncultivated soil with a clay-rich marl, grey and white on the surface. The soil in which the Damilano vines are located is characterized by a high percentage of sand (up to 45%), which gives the grapes intense aromas of cherry, plum and tobacco, rose and violet in sequence.
