Description

The Benriach distillery was founded in 1898 by John Duff. The name comes from the Celtic for "speckled mountain".

Benriach 12 YO is aged for at least 12 years in three types of casks: Sherry casks, Bourbon casks, and Port casks. The whisky from each cask is then expertly blended to create a smooth and balanced taste with a long-lasting finish.

Nose: Maple syrup over blueberry pancakes, dark chocolate, quince and orange.

Palate: Honeyed cereals, baked apple, chocolate peanuts and soft, almost jammy sultanas.

Finish: Mocha, honey, dried fruit.
