Since its creation in 1984, Blanton's Original has been the standard for single barrel bourbon. Specially selected from the centrally located barrels in the famous Warehouse H - the warehouse where Blanton's Distillery's whiskey ages - Blanton's Original Single Barrel was originally intended only for ambassadors, officials, and Colonel Blanton's close friends. Today, everyone has access to the world's first "single barrel" bourbon.

Blanton's Original set the standard for single barrel bourbon in 1984. Best served neat or on the rocks. Bottled at 46.5% ABV.

The flavor profile is sweet, with notes of citrus and oak, and the vanilla aroma is enriched with hints of caramel and spices, including nutmeg, cloves, and cinnamon.
