We cannot make whiskey anywhere else but here. Our water, sourced from the River Bush, flows over basalt rocks, the same ones that give a unique character to another local attraction - the Giant's Causeway. The casks we choose for aging our whiskey are also of fundamental importance, so we select them from chosen coopers in Spain, Portugal, and America. Once delivered to the Old Bushmills Distillery, our master craftsmen inspect each cask before filling it and leaving it to mature.
