Description

Drouin is interested in quality, not quantity. For this reason, the plantation is organized in a traditional way, planting only traditional varieties from which high-stemmed trees grow. These yield a relatively small harvest, but of very high quality. The fruits are pressed only once, to extract only the very best. After distillation, the distillate ages in barrels of various sizes and ages, including those from sherry and port. They are chosen so as to allow the Calvados to develop under optimal conditions. In this way, Christian Drouin has managed to win countless medals and honorary awards, including the award for best Calvados producer.
