Description

Drouin is interested in quality, not quantity. For this reason, the plantation is organized in a traditional way, with only traditional varieties planted, from which tall trees grow. These yield a relatively small harvest, but of very high quality. The fruits are pressed only once to extract only the best. After distillation, the distillate ages in barrels of different sizes and ages, including those from sherry and port. They are chosen so as to allow the Calvados to develop under optimal conditions. In this way, Christian Drouin has managed to win countless medals and honorary awards, including the award for best Calvados producer.

Golden color. Double distilled, aged in small oak barrels, this Calvados offers harmonious aromas of baked apples, almond, and spices. Soft and elegant on the palate, well-developed. Fruity at first, then vanilla and more woody notes develop.
