Шардоне от Вахау е рядкост — районът е известен с ризлинг и грюнер велтлинер. Federspiel е средната категория: сухо вино с алкохол до 12,5% и без обогатяване, което държи стила стегнат. Резултатът е шардоне без тежест: зелена ябълка, лимон, лешник и ясна минералност от терасите над Дунав. Сервирайте на 10–12 °C към риба или бяло месо.

Grape Variety: Chardonnay
Colour: Light yellow-green colour
Aroma and Taste: The nose is rich with fruity aromas, reminiscent of yellow apples, apricots and citrus fruits. The body is harmonious, with prevailing flavours of pear and fresh lemons and limes. The lively acidity is balanced by good fruit concentration, and the finish is long.
Aging: This Chardonnay ages for a short period in neutral vessels – stainless steel and large oak barrels. The wine is ready for consumption immediately after bottling.
Recommended serving temperature: 9-11 C

Additional notes

Can age until 2025.
Classification: Complex flavours.
Vinification: Fermented in stainless steel vessels, aged in large wooden barrels.
