Château Chantelys is one of the jewels of the Northern Médoc.
Initially, this chateau was created in the late 1940s by the father of the current owner. Then, Christine Courrian took over the management of the estate in 1983 and expanded it from a few plots, saved from the 1956 frosts, to 16 hectares.
She now works as a traditional Médoc winemaker to produce a refined and classic Cru Bourgeois.
Grape varieties: 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 10% Petit Verdot
Tasting notes: Initially fruity and well-balanced wine. On the palate, a rich and abundant wine with elegant tannins and roundness in the finish.
