Description

The Donissan de Citran family managed the estate from the 13th century until 1832, when the last heir was forced to sell it to Mr. Closel. This wealthy and ambitious businessman defined the property's boundaries and elevated Château Citran among the estates in Médoc. The Miailhe family bought the property in 1945 and began a renovation program that continued until 1987. Subsequently, a Japanese group acquired the property, making significant investments in it. This also marked a period of Resurrection in the growth of Médoc!
