Description

The château was built in 1758 and has been part of the official Bordeaux Classification since 1855.

The château's vineyards face the river. The mild temperatures resulting from this proximity lead to early ripening, which is often a sign of good quality. The 20 hectares of Langoa Barton are predominantly planted in gravelly soils. The planting ratio consists of 54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, and 11% Cabernet Franc. The vines have an average age of 37 years.

Manual harvesting. The wine matures for 16 to 18 months in French oak barrels, most of which are new.
