The winemaker and wine merchant Pierre Lurton, director of the iconic Château d'Yquem and Château Cheval Blanc estates, born and raised in a neighboring winery, acquired Château Marjosse in several stages, starting in 1991.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA blend of Merlot (80%), Cabernet Franc (8%), Cabernet Sauvignon (8%), and Malbec (4%). The winemaking process begins with careful selection of only the best grapes, which are then sorted.
