Description

Château Musar is the name of a Lebanese winery in Ghazir, Lebanon. The grapes grow in the Beqaa Valley, a fertile valley at an altitude of 1000 meters, located 25 miles east of Beirut, nestled between two mountain ranges running parallel to Lebanon's Mediterranean coast. Originally established in 1930 by Gaston Hochar, the estate is still owned and managed by the second and third generations of the family.

A blend of 60% Obaideh and 40% Merwah (believed to be the ancestors of Chardonnay and Sémillon).

Color: golden-yellow

Aroma: ripe peach, banana, almonds, honey

A rich and full-bodied wine with a long finish reminiscent of a dry Sauternes.
