Description

Château Musar is the name of a Lebanese winery in Ghazir, Lebanon. The grapes grow in the Beqaa Valley, a fertile valley at an altitude of 1000 meters, located 25 miles east of Beirut, nestled between two mountain ranges running parallel to Lebanon's Mediterranean coast. Originally established in 1930 by Gaston Hochar, the estate is still owned and managed by the second and third generations of the family.

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Carignan, and Cinsault. The average age of the vineyards is 40 years. The wine ages for 12 months in concrete vats before bottling and an additional 4 years in the bottle before release.

Suitable for vegans. Decanting is recommended.
