Description
The winery is located in the historic Pago de Valdestremero estate, where vineyards were known as early as the 16th century, producing grapes used in the wine served at the court of King Philip II in Valladolid. The vineyard is divided into multiple micro-plots with single-varietal Tempranillo grapes.
Harvesting is done by hand, plot by plot, with the initial selection made on-site in the vineyard. We vinify each plot separately for better quality control of our wines.
Wine produced from grapes from the winery's 80 hectares of own vineyards, located in the so-called "Golden Mile" of the DO Ribera del Duero region.
100% Tinta Fina (Tempranillo). The wine is aged in French oak barrels for a period of 12 to 14 months.
An elegant wine, deep and complex, with all the nobility and character of Ribera del Duero. An excellent base of wild fruits with delicate mineral notes. Fresh and silky on the palate, a well-balanced wine.
