Courvoisier is one of the four leading cognac houses in the world. Also known as "The Cognac of Napoleon", the brand is a preferred choice for millions of connoisseurs of refined taste.

The history of the Courvoisier brand dates back to the early 19th century. In 1811, the Galloise cellar was visited by Napoleon Bonaparte himself, who, inspired by what he tasted, began to give cognac rations to his army to boost their morale during the ongoing wars. This was the emperor's first encounter with Courvoisier cognac and heralded the beginning of a relationship between the future Courvoisier brand and the imperial court of Napoleon I, II, and III.

Courvoisier V.S.O.P. is an elegant Fine Champagne Cognac, produced from grapes from Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne, and aged between 8 and 12 years in French oak barrels.
