At the end of the Victorian era, A. J. Cameron, Dewar's first official Master Blender, introduced the process of blending and double aging for the first time, thanks to which the taste of the whiskey became even smoother and more mature. Inspired by this process, in 2000, Master Blender Tom Aitken created Dewar's 12 y.o.

Aroma

Rich caramel, smoothly enveloped by a hint of oak and caramelized apples.

Taste

Exceptionally fruity and fresh taste, with notes of juicy raisins, citrus, and hints of vanilla.

Finish

Perfect, long, and honeyed, pleasant spiciness, freshness, and distinctive sweetness, complemented by apples.
