Description

A "Super Premium" category rum produced by Destileria Serralles in Puerto Rico. The distillery's 150-year history is a testament to its tradition of distilling the highest quality rums. This is a blend of rums, some of which have aged for 9 to 12 years in American white oak barrels, while others have been in a Solera system of Spanish sherry casks that was filled with rum 50 years ago. The aroma is of vanilla and dark caramel, a result of the rum's long contact with the oak barrels. On the palate, it feels soft and offers a complex taste of vanilla, cinnamon, honey, dark caramel, as well as molasses and tobacco.
