Description

Produced by Bodegas Williams&Humbert distillery, established in 1877 and one of the largest producers of sherry and brandy in the world. In addition to beverages, the company also sells its casks, which are used to age world-renowned whisky brands such as The Macallan and others. All casks are located on an estate totaling 150,000 sq.m. (including production areas). The company is 100% owned by the Medina family and is one of the largest in Jerez, Spain.

Dos Maderas Selección Rum undergoes three stages of aging. Initially, the rum ages for 10 years in American white oak barrels in the Caribbean (Guyana and Barbados), after which it is transported to Jerez, Spain, and continues its aging process in Dos Maderas 5+5 rum barrels (which have already aged in 2 different sherry casks before bottling).
