Description
The ten-year-old Edradour is handmade and one of the last single malt whiskies from a traditional farm distillery still produced today. The production methods, by only three men including the distillery manager, and much of the equipment used in the distillery, have remained unchanged for the past 150 years and only now can reach commercial quantities. In fact, the Edradour distillery produces as much whisky in one year as most distilleries produce in one week.
New batches of EDRADOUR 10 YO are dark chestnut in color and have rich aromas of dried fruit, candied almonds, orange marmalade, and chocolate. The taste comes from the best Oloroso sherry casks used in its 10-year aging, preserved as a commitment to quality by Edradour, who use sherry casks for only two aging cycles.
A rare pleasure for the lucky few who manage to taste it.
