Carrying on the legacy of Casa Herradura, El Jimador is a premium tequila made from 100% blue agave. El Jimador is the No. 1 selling 100% blue agave tequila in Mexico. It was specially produced in 1994 in honor of the jimador - the person who proudly cultivates the blue agave plant and creates this tequila, as well as to honor his dedication and craftsmanship. The new tequila became so popular that it began to be produced continuously.

PRODUCTION: Aged for two months in American white oak barrels

COLOR: Light, warm amber

AROMA: Buttery, cooked agave with notes of almond, vanilla and spices

TASTE: Rich, roasted agave with a hint of vanilla and caramel

FINISH: Moderately smoky with lingering notes of caramel
