Description

Fernet Branca liqueur is an aromatic beverage from the bitters category, made from 40 herbs and spices, including myrrh, rhubarb, chamomile, cardamom, and saffron, with a grape alcohol base. The recipe was created in 1845 by Maria Scala in Milan and remains a secret to this day. After marriage, Maria Scala changed her surname to Maria Branca, and that is when the product was named. Fernet Branca is still produced in Milan by the Fratelli Branca company, run by the Branca family.

Fernet Branca liqueur is served as a digestif after a meal, but you can also enjoy it with coffee or added to coffee. It can be served at room temperature or with ice.
