Description

The eight hectares of Cabernet Franc in the Frettner area lie at the edge of an oak forest and have excellent loamy soils. The old rocks of the mountains between the foothills of the Alps and Lake Neusiedl have transformed into brown soils with deposits of extremely weathered rock. The soil here is very deep and rich in humus and limestone.

Harvesting is done by hand. The grapes ferment for 10 days. The wine is then transferred to 500-liter oak barrels and left to age there for another 24 months.
