Every sip of Glenmorangie Nectar d'Or takes us in front of the display window of a charming French patisserie, full of tempting pastries. To achieve the delicate taste of the whisky, it is aged in bourbon casks, and finally in casks that previously held sweet Sauternes white wine. The result is unique - its taste is soft like cotton candy, and the symphony of aromas amazes with its palette of nuances.
Aromas: Delicate lemon tart with vanilla, lime, and orange zest, followed by notes of dates, ginger, and coconut.
Taste: Soft and warming taste, carrying notes of nutmeg and freshly baked almonds dipped in honey.
Finish: The finish brings a pleasant sweetness, balanced by notes of lime zest, vanilla cream, and a hint of ginger and nutmeg.
