Hendrick's is made in Scotland - centuries of distilling experience and an abundance of pure, soft water that comes from the Penwhapple area. For its production, we use the highest quality botanicals from all over the world:
● the flowers we are proud of are entirely from Eastern Europe
● coriander from Eastern Europe and Morocco, which is highly aromatic and brings a sense of ginger, lemon and sage
● blueberries from Italy
● highly aromatic Spanish orange peels
● Spanish lemon peels, which add bitter-spicy notes
● Angelica roots from Eastern Europe
... and here comes Hendrick's stroke of genius - our wonderful and unusual blend of roses and cucumbers:
- cucumbers from Holland refresh and give life to our gin
- the roses are not just roses, but the remarkable Bulgarian Damask roses, which are hand-picked between May and June and contribute to the uniqueness of Hendrick's
Only Hendrick's is distilled with a copper pot still (a type of still used for whiskey and brandy) and a Carter-Head still - it can be said to be a blend
- by boiling the botanicals in our Bennet Still (a type of pot still), we achieve great depth of aromas - by combining distillation in different types of stills, we create a delightful and soft gin, possessing the two required qualities - character and balanced light aromas
