Description

Bodegas Heredad de Baroja winery was founded in 1964 and is located in the heart of La Rioja Alavesa. The location of the vineyards, approximately 600 meters above sea level, and the wide temperature range between day and night in September ensure perfect ripening.

100% Tempranillo from the Rioja Alavesa sub-region from 30-40 year old vines. Aged in American oak for 12 months, then bottle aged for at least 6 months.

Color - deep garnet

Aroma - persistent nuances of wild berries and toasted notes of new wood

Taste - With great intensity and structure with sweet tannins
