Description

The Highland Park Single Cask Bulgaria project is inspired by the fact that Bulgaria is one of the oldest countries in Europe that has not changed its name since its inception. It is unique worldwide, both in its theme and in the fact that it is the first time the brand has released products with a Cyrillic label.

The Highland Park 1230 Single Cask Series is limited to 595 bottles and matured in a single first-fill European oak sherry cask. The whisky matured for 18 years before bottling. The release is dedicated to the Battle of Klokotnitsa on March 9, 1230, when the Bulgarian army, led by Tsar Ivan Asen II, defeated the army of the Epirus Empire, led by Emperor Theodore Comnenus.

Highland Park is one of the most remote Scotch whisky distilleries, founded in 1798. For more than 200 years, the distillery has combined old traditions and the best craftsmanship to achieve the perfect taste.
