Description

Château Carbonnieux is one of the oldest and largest wine estates in the Bordeaux region.

Its history spans almost 8 centuries, and its vineyards cover about one hundred hectares. The vineyards, cultivated in a sustainable and environmentally responsible manner, are dedicated exclusively to dry white and red wine, both of which are qualified as Grands Crus Classés de Graves.

The wines of La Croix de Carbonnieux are a tribute to the Benedictine monks of the Sainte Croix Abbey in Bordeaux, who were the owners during the 13th - 18th century. Coming from selections of the classified growth of Carbonnieux, the white and red wines of La Croix de Carbonnieux are second wines, produced as grand crus.

A blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot. Matured for 12 months in Bordeaux barrels.
