The history of the family company Sucesores Hermanos Lopez dates back to the mid-19th century, with over 160 years dedicated to cultivating olive trees and producing extra virgin olive oil of the highest quality.
La Laguna Selecta Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a blend of Picuda & Hojiblanca varieties, characteristic of the province of Cordoba (Andalusia).
La Laguna Selecta olive oil is harvested from centennial olive trees located at an altitude between 700 and 1,000 meters near the village of Luque in the area of the Sierras Subbéticas Natural Park.
Harvesting takes place during the first half of November.
La Laguna Selecta is an olive oil with Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) Baena from the province of Cordoba.
It is characterized by a bouquet of fresh aromas with medium intensity. Notes of apple and green herbs predominate. The medium levels of bitterness and pungency make it exceptional for pairing with fish and seafood, salads, cold soups, bread, cheeses, vegetable dishes, meat dishes, grilled vegetables.
