Description
Lar de Paula was founded in 2004, a result of accumulated knowledge and the desire to pay homage to those who gave meaning to the legacy that continues to grow today. Each area around the winery – Laguardia, Cripan, Lanciego – is part of a mosaic that enriches our winemaking identity. The vineyards are over 40 years old.
Our winery is located in the small enclave of Elvillar, at an altitude of 600 meters. The soil is calcareous, hard, and demanding. Cool mornings and sunny afternoons, favored by the altitude and orientation, allow for slow and balanced ripening. The temperature range between day and night concentrates the aromas. The Ebro Valley to the south provides humidity and fertility.
100% Tempranillo from old vines. Aged 24 months in American and French oak barrels. Followed by 12 months of bottle aging.

Aroma - ripe fruits and spices, notes of wood
Taste - Elegant with good structure and ripe, elegant tannins. With a long, complex finish.
