Description

Caccia al Piano 1868 is located in Castagneto Carducci, in the heart of Bolgheri, and belongs to the Berluchi family, known for their pioneering role in Franciacorta.

The 100% Vermentino grapes, hand-picked in small 15 kg crates, were placed whole in a press, where they were carefully pressed. The wine aged for 4 months on its fine lees, which were then cyclically suspended during this period, preceding the preparation of the final blend and bottling.
