Description

Located in southeastern Tuscany, Tenuta di Trinoro specializes in rich, age-worthy red wines made from Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot. The estate is situated in viticultural isolation in the Orcia Valley near Sarteano, where Tuscany meets Umbria and Lazio.

Tenuta di Trinoro's second wine, Le Cupole, was first produced in 1995. Respecting the vintage, the blend of the four grape varieties – Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot – changes every year. The wine ferments in stainless steel tanks and ages in 1 to 3-year-old barriques and concrete vats.
