Description

Produced by Terroir al Límit, the Terroir al Límit Les Manyes wine is the only Hairy Grenache wine from this prestigious winery in DOQ Priorat, owned by German-born Dominik Huber. This single-varietal Spanish red wine is made from a scarce hectare of vineyards around 60 years old, called Les Manyes, located on a steep slope with clay, quartz, and limestone soils, at about 700 meters above sea level. The winery follows biodynamic farming principles.

After a meticulous harvest, the grapes undergo a very light maceration, which aims to impart delicate aromas rather than extract tannins or hard components. Once alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in vats is complete, malolactic fermentation for this Priorat red wine takes place in concrete eggs. It ages for at least 8 months in concrete vessels.
