Description

Oban is produced in one of the world's oldest distilleries, which is still in operation today. Established in 1794, the distillery was built by the Stevenson brothers in the middle of the town – something quite unusual, but evidently successful. Besides being one of the oldest, Oban distillery is also one of the smallest in Scotland, and the whisky is distilled in special small lantern-shaped stills.
