Description

Perfection since 1785. Florence-Louis Heidsieck founded the company with the idea of creating "wine that makes people smile." Born in Germany, but falling in love with the Champagne region at first sight, he was driven by his adventurous spirit, and nothing could stop his enthusiasm. Following his intuition, Florence achieved remarkable success, the greatest of which was the creation of a bottle dedicated to Queen Marie-Antoinette. This earned him the right to be presented at the French royal court, and the heiress to the throne highly appreciated the refined drink.
Florence's nephew - Christian Heidsieck, successfully developed the company with the help of the talented Henri Guillaume. Together, they achieved famous accomplishments and continued Florence's work, with the brand "Piper-Heidsieck" being proclaimed an official supplier to 14 royal courts - from those of Habsburg princesses to Chinese emperors.
The brand is inextricably linked with cinema and Hollywood. Marilyn Monroe herself adored Piper-Heidsieck champagne and in 1953 shared: "I go to bed with Chanel No. 5 perfume, and I wake up next to a glass of Piper-Heidsieck. It really warms me up." Since 1993, the brand has been the official distributor of the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, and for three years it has been an official partner of the Academy Awards ceremony.
