Riesling from one of the coolest, steepest and most impressive vineyards in Wachau. Great minerality! Smoky and very tight, with a precise structure and clear fruit; a very complex, intense aroma of stone fruits and delicate tropical fruit. Pronounced minerality and spicy acidity on the palate; a balanced, very elegant Riesling with length and power. The name Federspiel comes from falconry, which was very popular in Wachau. The falcon symbol symbolizes the graceful elegance of these dry white wines. Served chilled, this Riesling is ideal as an aperitif and is a classic accompaniment to Austrian fish cuisine.
