"Studio by Miraval was created by the château in Provence, which became the joint property of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. The launch of "Studio" follows the success of Miraval rosé, which debuted in 2012. It is inspired by a music studio installed on the estate by the previous owner, jazz musician Jacques Loussier. Several famous bands, including Pink Floyd and AC/DC, have recorded there.
Studio by Miraval, like the estate, is made in partnership with the Perrin family of Château de Beaucastel.
"This new rosé will be the common thread connecting a place, a legend, a heritage and, above all, a love for art," a statement said, adding that the new wine is intended to evoke the spirit of the French Riviera."
