Description
Almost half of Scotland's malt whisky distilleries are located in Speyside, and the Dufftown distillery is in the heart of this fertile region, nestled between mountains, rivers and the sea.
Perfectly rich, balanced and smooth, the unmistakable taste of The Singleton comes from a unique selection of European oak casks, which bring rich fruity flavours, and American oak casks, which release honeyed vanilla notes. This smooth, naturally rich single malt whisky has sweet fruity notes and a long-lasting pleasant warmth. The notes are of toasted nuts, blackcurrant, brown sugar and espresso coffee.
Serve by adding water to bring out the classic fruity sweet flavours of Speyside. This smooth and mellow scotch comes beautifully packaged, making it a sure gift for new consumers of the malt whisky category.
Chin Chin Singleton
30 ml The Singleton whisky
1/2 spoon of honey
15ml clear apple juice
25 ml simple syrup 1:1
Method: Pour the ingredients into a shaker or a tightly sealed jar, stir and shake with plenty of ice for about 10-15 seconds. Double strain (with a fine strainer) and then fill to the rim of the glass with sparkling wine. Garnish with an apple slice.
