The 15-year-old Singleton is a wonderful, rich, and complete Speyside Malt whisky.
Its smooth, sweet, approachable style and spicy dry finish can be attributed to the aging process carried out in a blend of European and American oak casks. Each sip brings a slightly spicy sensation and an overall dryness with apples and hints of honeycomb, balanced by linseed oil and sea notes. Sweet chestnut and tart red fruits make it an ideal malt favorite. Without water, the aroma is sweet initially, then dries at the finish. Warming, light, and smooth; pleasantly delicate. Fresh fruit with spicy top notes.

30 ml The Singleton whiskey
1/2 spoon honey
15ml clear apple juice
25 ml 1:1 sugar syrup
Method: Pour the ingredients into a shaker or a tightly sealed jar, stir, and shake with plenty of ice for about 10-15 seconds. Double strain (with a fine sieve) and then top up to the rim of the glass with sparkling wine. Garnish with an apple slice.
