Description

Shiroka Melnishka Loza (Broadleaf Melnik Vine) is an emblematic variety, endemic to the Melnik region. In the past, it was grown in a goblet formation or as a bush 80 cm from the ground. At Villa Melnik, we have preserved a small plot of 1 decare, which continues to surprise with impressive results. The wine is made from grapes harvested exclusively from the goblet-trained vineyard. 50% of the quantity fermented in a stainless steel tank without contact with oak barrels, while the remaining 50% aged for 24 months in second-fill Bulgarian oak barrels.
